Pipedrive Cancellation: What Happens to Your Account and Data?

Pipedrive's current cancellation process is straightforward, but the timing of access and eventual account deletion is important if your CRM contains business records.

Scope: This page focuses on cancellation, renewal, refund and data-exit mechanics. Provider terms can change, so the research date matters.

Cancellation does not mean immediate data loss

Pipedrive says that after cancellation you can still access the account and data until the end of the current billing cycle.

After that billing cycle ends, access to the account ends.

Export before the billing cycle ends

Pipedrive recommends exporting your data before closing the account.

Keep your own copy of anything you need rather than relying on the cancellation confirmation.

What happens later?

Pipedrive says that, due to GDPR obligations, it is required to permanently delete accounts that have been cancelled for six months.

That makes the distinction between the end of paid access and permanent deletion important.

Practical cancellation sequence

Complete the paid-account cancellation flow.

Keep the cancellation confirmation email.

Use the remaining billing-cycle access to export data.

Check integrations that depend on the Pipedrive account.

Do not wait for permanent deletion before discovering an export is missing.

Before you leave

Check the billing-cycle end date.

Review add-ons and connected services.

Verify that exported CRM data opens correctly.

Switch off integrations or automations that should no longer run.

Important: This is independent research, not legal advice. Your order, contract, plan, country and product-specific terms can affect the exact result.
